1872 Seated Liberty Dollar, MPD, AU Details

Coin has great eye appeal, BUT under a glass shows micro pits in areas of the Obverse!

Overall almost looks Proof but is not; also has an extra digit of a 2 protruding above the 2 of date from the rock.

Another neat anomaly shows a long looping "thread" on the skirt/shin area meaning it was incused on the die -- striking it raised on the coin.

Overall -- neat and cheap @ only $485.
